New Zealand Diploma in Diving

- Diploma in Professional Scuba Instruction (Level 5)
Our Diploma programme takes you from entry level diving, advanced diving, specialty diving, dive supervision and leadership skills through to advanced instructional and specialty instructional levels. Up to 100 dives are included and as a graduate you will emerge a competent and confident diver and instructor.
Programme Features
- 45 weeks full-time study
- Up to one-hundred dives
- Graduate as a PADI Specialty Instructor with five specialty ratings
Class numbers are limited to ensure individual attention and to help create a positive team environment. Many valuable long-term friendships are made during this course. Graduates are registered internationally and are immediately able to apply their knowledge and skills in the dive industry, both here and overseas.
Prerequisites
- Students must obtain a diving medical clearance prior to course commencement
- Be at least 18 years of age before being certified as a PADI Divemaster

Graduates of the 45 week programme will be awarded the New Zealand Certificate in Diving (Level 3) and New Zealand Diploma in Diving (Level 5).
Learners who already hold the New Zealand Certificate in Diving (Level 3) (or equivalent knowledge and skills) may enrol for a total duration of 36 weeks and will be awarded the New Zealand Diploma in Diving (Level 5) upon successful completion.
